Morphine Prince 109,650
read post above ^^^^^ McdonLds was bought by Americans and they started the chain. But the first Mcdonalds was opened in Toronto so we played a role in the plague. U dot have to take all credit (or blame) :PThis is not true though. The first McD's opened in 1940 in California. McDonald's corporation opened its first official McDonald's in Illinois in 1955 after that. First McDonald's outside of the US was in Canada until 1967 in Richmond, BC. If its not Mcdonalds then i dont remember now which one it is
HANZ 4,380
well for some ppl its not easy. Im a skinny guy but i eat so much crap and fatty foods. Now ive finally cut down on that and increased carbs and protein and have been working out at gym with a buddy to maximize results... I managed ti gain 10 pounds only and remain skinny. Clearly genetics is playig a role here. If i struggle so much to gain, maybe some ppl have genetics that makes it hard to not be chuncky??? Even now deapite my reductions i still eat tones of junk food (im working on cutting down some more) but i never get crap judgment just cause im lucky to not gain weight but im not any better than those "fat people" just because i got skinny genes Of course habits are bad. Too much ppl eat garbage (myself included). But then who gains weight and doesnt will partially be determined by genes. I eat more calories than many of my friends who are bigger than me I agree genetics play a big role, but humanity has never been so obese, literally half of the population is obese, I would say that only 20-30% of the obese people out there can blame their genetics for that but for the rest they are either too lazy or eat too much crap My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48

Whispering 18,865
see? my point isnt to defend peoples bad habbits... my point is that many who judge are just as bad in their habits but it just isnt as aparent because they dont gain weight as easily its hard to tell on weight alone who the guiltiest ppl are... u look at me 5'11" and only 138 pounds and ud swear i only eat salads but believe me it aint the case of course, ppl who are REALLY overweight, its pretty fair to say usually their habbits are REALLY BAD lol That's true. I know some people who are incredibly healthy in their eating and excercise habits, but are overweight by health standards. Then I know people who have a horrible diet and never excercise and are incredibly thin. Yet, the thin people aren't judged as unhealthy, but the bigger people will be judged as being lazy and undisciplined.

Since genetics play a partial role in weight, its hard to tell from that alone how healthy they are a person who eats healthy and exersizes but is still a little chunky (say 15-20 pounds overweight) can still be relatively healthy on the otherhand u can be skinny and still have clogged arteries and high blood pressire from crap u eat
