Bis-xuals are there too if we're ever worried about a baby shortage, which tbh would not be a bad thing if only for a couple of years :emma:

Interesting numbers but I'm not really surprised.  People can't be put into a box and attraction and love are boundless and can't be labeled.

how many percent voted 5 out of 6? ?

????

How many 4?

And how many 3?

And if you are bi, you cannot vote 50% 50% because 3 out of 6 is not 50% 50%, it is below,  and 4 out of 6 would be above 50%.

"from exclusively heteros-xual at 0 to exclusively homos-xual at 6"

0 1 2 3 4 5 6     3 is exactly in the middle, so it's 50% hetero/50% homos-xual

but I would like to know as well how many people of each number there was

cause 1 isn't really a bi person to me, and I bet there was a huge number of 1s

ya right, 3 is the middle

(I'm not good at maths)

I think many people voted 1, too

How many people were asked?

Edit: They only asked a little over 1500 persons... Not that relevant then IMO :P
Second edit: And out of them, only a little bit under 200 were between 18-24 years, the rest was above that age. So... :bye:

But never the less it's good PR for the LGBT community tho'

Once you take a statistics class you will never call 1500 a "small" sample size. And you should take a statistics class if you want to have opinions on stats.

But they only asked 200 between 18-24 and they are talking as if was UK's full young population tho'

and they clearly left out how many HOMOPHOBIC straight people there are and if they weren't the bis-x rate would probably drop like wildfire because a large majority of gay kids hide behind bis-x tbh. Although some actually are obviously.

200 is plenty.

The question you should be asking is how did they get survey applicants. 200 randomly selected people will represent a population fairly well. 200 people selected from a college campus will not (well, unless the population you are interested in is college students).

I'm just saying it's not enough to make a title almost saying that half of the country aren't heteros-xuals.

I actually study social work at university and while we don't focus on statistics too much, we've seen and studied many national statistics. And at least with my background, we can't generalize when we only talk about 200 individuals. Yes, it may hint at an statement, but it's not enough and should have many comparative studies to confirm it.
