Classic man didn't sample Fancy, the basslines are very different, on the same key though. They credit Iggy so they can't get sued for  "Fancy's sound" which on it's own is a rip-off of DJ Mustard's Sound, which on its turn influenced by the sound The Bay area in LA. Jidenna and Janelle had to take precautions since the Marvin Gaye/ Robin Thicke+Pharrel courtcase really fvcked up the copyright terms for songs.

and they did it in purpose to get her back for her "appropriation" which is stellar lol
