Economy 52,844
http://www.wsj.com/articles/oil-prices-slide-to-6-year-low-1439524809 in some areas of the US gasoline prices have surged above $5/gallon even as oil hovers at $43/barrel Many refineries have shut down resulting in a lot less production of gasoline even though oil prices are at 6 year lows Many refinaries globaly have neglected maintnance to produce as much as possible as low oil prices but no oversupply of gasoline and diesel have given refiners an all time high profit margin... As a result some refinaries have run into problems for neglegence. Others are offline for other reasons such as a major pipeline shut off mear Chicago that sends oil to one of the main hubs.
