They've changed the days. The charts are previewed on Saturday and Sunday, I think, and they're released on Monday and Tuesday. Maybe. Honestly, I can't remember. There are too many days to remember now.

BB 200 top 10 on Sunday (sometimes Monday), Hot 100 top 10 on Monday and full charts on Tuesday.

I know right :lmao: But are u sure? Because quoting directly from BB: "Billboard.com each Monday, with all charts updated on Tuesday, following the July 10 adoption of the Friday retail global release date."

I told a friend about the nr.1 position on monday, and the chart wasn't uptaded until now (I didn't check yesterday or tuesday) :P

Does The Weeknd get inspiration from Michael Jackson?  I can hear early Michael so much in this song.

Yes. One of his inspirations. You can hear his 'Dirty Diana' cover here if u want :) From one of his mixtapes released 4 years ago.

He is trying to be the best he can, and he's getting help trying to expand his audience. He's been told by people in the music industry to tone it down with his explicit lyrics, and getting more structure in his songs, and it all started by 'Earned it', where he doesn't even say a bad mouth word :P 'Can't Feel My Face' isn't a normal sounding The Weeknd song :P He is basically going for a more pop structure. I hope not all songs in the albums have this structure because I'll miss the raw The Weeknd x.X

Yea I thought they were more alternative pop?  Is that right?  I've never really listened to them before but this song is great.

The Weeknd is one person, his name is Abel :) From the start until this year his music was alternative, or as many labeled it alternative R&B, modern R&B or PBR&B. His main producer was Illangelo, who makes really experimental electronic music, and when they worked together they made a genre difficult to label :) To me, the combination of excellent production and his voice are amazing.

He released 3 mixtapes in 2011 for free (you can get or listen to them at DatPiff), and one year later released them combined as the 'Trilogy' for sale + 2-3 bonus tracks, but they still are there for free :) House of Balloons is the most successful mixtape, so maybe u should try that first if u wanna listen to him :) http://www.datpiff.com/The-Weeknd-House-Of-Balloons-mixtape.211140.html

Edit: But yeah, as said his music back then isn't like how 'Can't Feel My Face' or 'Earned It' is. Expect more unstructured, dark and experimental songs with very explicit lyrics.

Ok thanks, I'll look into him.
