It did not have that special something that Just Dance and Bad Romance had that made you want to listen to it on repeat or was relatable in anyway... even Born This Way was more relatable than Applause, and I found Born This Way to be somewhat mediocre. More intelligence, maturity and meaning behind the lyrics and Sara has a really good voice! Applause still sounds fresh and different from the basic kiddy pop, two years later! yASSsss 35,510 Posted August 13, 2015 Author Share Posted August 13, 2015 Roar is SOOOO predictable, it's so cliché, it's the repetition of the pop cycle, where the producers re-cycle their material 'cause they know it's going to be a HIT. It may be enjoyable, but it is not memorable. It is just another KP song, and it sounds like every other of her songs. I liked Applause better (The message, the sound, The Gaga coming back again), although I expected ARTPOP to be even BIGGER in terms of sound. And Gaga's vocals (Except Dope). I think it's stupid and ridiculous to compare these two women.
