It's sad. Not hard to keep up with health codes and keep food warm or cold. I wasn't impressed when I went last year. The service sucked. I had such high hopes too. Joe needs to hire better knowledgeable people to turn the place around

I was there 3 years ago. Food was alright and the service was really slow, but I lucked out cause Joe got fed up with our server and ending up serving us for two hours. He also bought us drinks and dessert, so overall I had a fabulous time.

Cynthia told my mom she has fabulous hair which my mom loves to brag about.

I ate there the year it opened and spent $20 on mac and cheese.

I don't think it was destined to last.

This is unacceptable. I know NYC can be nasty, but... :awkney:

How? Because of the pricing?

I think its target audience are clear from their pricelist.

Plus it's in New York City.

Where in Manhattan you can pay as much as $30 for a pan of Pizza.

While in.Philadelphia, some places only offer as low as $8-$10 for a pan.

It is the same everywhere.

There are place to eat targeted for particular crowds,

students, for middle class, for young executives, for wealthy people, etc.

And some are just for everyone, such as KFC, Chipotle, etc.

Doesn't mean their days are numbered because of $20 burgers :toofunny:

Too naiive to think that way.

You should try Nobu and see how much they gonna charge you for a plate of salad. :fan:

Incorrect. Joanne is incorrectly placed in an area of New York where local establishments wouldn't charge such high prices. The mac and cheese is one of the cheapest things on the menu, besides dessert, so $20 is high. You're naiive to think that just because it's in New York, it means it has to be pricey. Because you can also get a pan of pizza for 5 bucks in New York. Go read the yelp reviews and don't try and spark an argument with me.

I don't see why the issue can't be dealt with?

There's been years of rat infestations and low score inspections.  Surprised it stayed open this long.
