Giorno Giovanna 3,178
Oh, ffs. Can we stop with women in pop music always being so passive aggressive and b---hy about each other? It's so boring.well it's you who sees a passive-aggressive and b---hy attitude in her statement.Personally I don't, to me she just compares herself with someone else and how both are treated at the end of the day このジョルノジョヴァンナ夢がある

Giorno Giovanna 3,178
Yeah, me and plenty of others who don't see what she's saying as just some innocent commentary on how the media treat herhmm even if it was meant to be b---hy, doesn't mean it is directed towards Taylor, it can be directed towards the media itself, she often got criticized by the media. I don't think she got a reason or intention to go on Taylor. このジョルノジョヴァンナ夢がある
Nemo 4,294
I've actually come to like Taylor lately, but the "Bad Blood" video is garbage. And I'm not just saying that because it's Joseph Kahn. It's like one long extended opening credit sequence to a bad superhero movie, with nothing actually happening.

Doogi 1,507
Are you guys kidding?... Miley is so dumb for this. As if the Bad Blood video is glorifying violence! PLEASE. It's a music video with an action movie-like storyline. Gaga has violence in her work too. (The Fame commercial for instance when she shoots the men, or the gun bra) is the "Goddess of Love" glorifying violence too? I bet you would all say no.. And guess what? Neither is Taylor. Give me a break Miley... I'm Chloe. Except the C and the L are silent.
Kacey Elizabeth 900
Wrecking Ball won the video of the year, with its nudity. Both videos set all kinds of records and both songs were major pop hits, with WB being a massive hit song. I'm not sure why Miley is whining. Miley was called a diseased *****, a slut and bunch of other horrible things by the general public because of Wrecking Ball and We Can't Stop music videos, her 2013 MTV VMA performance, and the way she dressed and acted in the Bangerz era. All of the YouTube comments on her videos are so rude, and you're right about her being insulted by everyone. It's sad to see that she can't be accosted for who she wants to be Lady Gaga | Shakira

SKANK 14,288
Might want to consult with Robert Rodriguez since the video is clearly inspired by the violence in his films. Anyway, I disagree. I think some of us know to tell the difference between violence in the real world and a film. No matter how many violent films I watch, I will never be desensitized when I see something like a terrorist attack on TV. I'm not defending Gaga's use of violence in her music videos or film roles so I'm not sure what Robert Rodriguez has do with this. You might not be aware of how desensitized you actually are. What we are shown in the media and in pop culture about fictitious and real acts of violence does impact that way we think and feel about violence. If you are interested, Regarding The Pain of Others by Susan Sontag is a brilliant little essay on how images of violence effect us.

Pop 4,541
I don't see how people on this thread can hate on Taylor so much. She's being hated on by other female artists out of jealousy because she's more successful than any of them right now. Hmm...doesn't that sound like something that happened to another pop star we know? Oh right, Lady Gaga. Leave Taylor alone. Oop! There it is. We are talking about Taylor Swift's Bad Blood video which is inspired by the violence in his films by the looks of it. I mentioned Rodriguez because he also incorporates the parody-like violence like Khan in his films.
