Gianni Versace 2,987 Posted August 5, 2015 Share Posted August 5, 2015 Since many want a Rock sound and a lot of you would just rather have another Pop album, I think it'd be perfect to meet in the middle. This song is a perfect example. The genres listed on this song's wikipedia are "Alternative rock, power pop, post-grunge". Not only do I think it could sound fresh if it were produced by a modern producer(maybe even Red One!) but this could also really show off Gaga's voice! Which is something a lot of people have been asking of Gaga (monsters, billboard magazine, C2C fans). It also fits her recent style and yes, I do know that inbetween era looks are extremely unreliable when getting a feel for the next album, I think it would work perfect for a more angst album. More than anything though, I feel like exploring a more liberating and emotional genre will be therapeutic for Gaga. And plus... Gaga will probably have rock/jazz/punk influences on some of the songs on LG5, but I don't see why there's this sudden idea that she'll have an all rock album, etc. It's more than likely (99% sure) it will be pop with some EDM and some Rock and some Jazz.
