Well, she better release a killer lead songl this time, Applause was great, but it wasn´t a jaw-dropper at first listen, she needs something like Bad Romance :gaga:

I still think that if she released Aura as the lead, the whole era would go differently :toofunny: even after the BTW era loss of interest by the GP, Aura could have saved it at least a little bit...

Aura embodies most of the worst tendencies of Born This Way though. Why would the public reject a song like Judas but embrace Aura lol

Anyway, I would say this album is make or break in terms of regaining public interest in a major way. She'll always have her fanbase, and she'll always have media attention, that much is clear by now. But if this album doesn't resonate in a large way with the public then I'm not sure she ever could again, too much time might pass.

i feel like it is.

she needs to catch the GP's eye and teenagers again.

the C2C fans won't buy LG5 they are not interested in PopGa, she needs to appeal to the younger generation.

despite what she thinks she has already made it... she can work harder like she hasn't made it for sure but she is a house hold name/joke sometimes to people. she has made it.

Hmmmm... I would yes.

But I think she is already an icon, so she will be fine even if she underperforms again.

Look at Xtina, she had Bionic/Lotus but everyone would still remember who she is if you mentioned her, an she continues to do music and stay sort of relevant through different outlets because she was already an icon before flopping.

It's not like Gaga will dissapear. And on top of that, I think LG5 has BIG chances of doing good!

Gaga never targeted teenagers and she doesn't need to start.

ewww god no. i want her music to E-V-O-L-V-E. none of this pandering to teenagers who dont know **** about good music and art nonsense. gaga's 29, she shouldn't be making the same kind of music as her basic contemporaries, she needs to think about what kinda of music will start her legacy.

billy strayhorn wrote lush life when he was 19, stevie nicks was around 27 when she was singing landslide and dreams. if gaga's gonna write songs half as legendary as those she needs to stop this sugary pop mind dribble, and this gearing music towards the lowest common denominator tactic thats always brought her music down....

Teenagers should be pissed that labels and radio seem to think they can't deal with good quality music.   Pop Radio and Labels seem to think the average listener has a musical IQ of a 1st grader.  Of course, the fact that top 40 stuff keeps generating "hits" doesn't really help the perception.
