Tour promo and album promo usually don't really clash. And I don't mean to shade Madonna, but I don't think her impact lately has been big enough to influence the releases of other artists . The only thing that would hold Lady Gaga back because of Madonna's tour would be a larger than life collaboration on the first single and the tour would interfere with promotion.
