Gaga was a new artist, they wouldn't have let her release an album right away. It is its own body of work and as the music industry states it is not an EP save for marketing reasons. Solar 604 Posted August 1, 2015 Share Posted August 1, 2015 Cheek to Cheek is an amazing COLLABORATIVE album of COVERS between Tony Bennett and our beloved queen Lady Gaga.It's a great record but it's just not the same as TF, TFM, BTW and AP: 1. Its just covers sang with her beautiful voice and Tony's.2. She didn't produce (maybe some piano?) or write anything. So apart from the amazing singing, it's not essentialy a work of her.3. The musical project was released as a DUET.4. Making it TB&LG1, as we expect a TB&LG2 release in the future. So yeah, her next SOLO album release will be LG5. Back in my day we argued about whether Gaga won Best Female of The Year, Best Video of the Year or Best Male of the Year Life ain't Hollywood for any one of us.
