I agree with Gaga on which are the favorite. I enjoyed reading this piece. I have always loved loved loved eyebrows.

I guess this is gourmet food for eyebrow make-up enthusiasts :fat:

i love that the eyebrow chains where like a last minute 20 minute job done in a limo. you could never tell, and i hate when fans get on gaga about  being DIY and off the cuff, because that's who she is.

I wasn't a big fan of the eyebrow stuff, but after reading this I have a lot of respect for it.

Cool article. I've always seen the eyebrow embellishments as a twist on the current "full eyebrow" trend. I like how much thought they put into them. Maybe some of y'all will chill out about them now that you see the behind the scenes.

When they first started doing it i'm not gonna lie it wasn't my favourite thing ever - maybe it was just those particular designs. But over the last few days I've been looking at them and they honestly have to be one of my favourite things ever done in terms of make up by Gaga. So so so beautiful and I (personally) have never seen it done before on such a repetitive scale (i.e. not being done on a one-off occasion). Love it.

same here. The first ones were not my cup of tea (it is normal, maybe they were testing) but now I find them amazing. And after reading the article, even more.

I think if they keep on going on with this in a future era Gaga could create a trend :flutter:

"because we’re in the age where everything is about a big, bold, beautiful brow — so we kind of wanted to do the opposite"

well congrats sis you did it :smh:

I really don't like a majority of those brows. I don't like the extravagant chains or rings I feel it looks silly. I'm just a flop fan tbh :rip:

I had the same reaction. Like when she met Prince Harry with them on I was like ugh. They started growing on me when she posted this pic on IG, with the perfectly coifed hair, black dress and pink lip she reminded me of Kirsten Dunst in Marie Antoinette, but like with a punk twist.

Anyway, I really liked reading their explanations, I felt like I had a better understanding and appreciation of what they're doing. Like for example, going for editorial rather than classic glam at the Met Gala, or wanting to do something to up the ante on Gaga's look for the C2C audience because the tour doesn't use big arena-style screens. Also that quote about Gaga not liking conventional beauty is definitely something fans are going to have to accept and deal with if they haven't already after several years, lol.

This is so cool. I especially love the macramé curtain-esque eyebrows.

I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.

I personally think these eyebrows make her look like Shanaynay

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.
