Economy 52,864 Posted July 17, 2015 Share Posted July 17, 2015 Let the oil glut continue i remember seeig a documentry film from 2006 depicting a "probable scenario" in 2016 where the world had a huge oil shortage and was caotic etc instead here we are halfway through 2015 with the biggest glut in history. In fact a glut so big storage hubs are starting to get full if it wasnt for speculatirs prices would have dropped even more Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

In fact a glut so big storage hubs are starting to get full if it wasnt for speculatirs prices would have dropped even more to make things even better or worse depending ... A lot of oil fields that are low production or capped haven't been fracted yet...only a small percentage of previously drilled wells have been and the potential additional oil production won't even nearly as costly as drilling more wells...plus the fracting companies don't have to invest in new equipment or supplies cutting the costs further...some predictions have the U.S. As a net exporter if the consumption drops along with continued production increases... The worlds biggest customer won't need to buy oil for a while....8-) like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still.
