What do you make of its resurgence?I’m aware of it because my husband sent me a link letting me know. He’s on social media. I literally had to say to him, “What does this even mean?” Honestly it’s like speaking another language. So he passed it on, and we were laughing about it, but I think it’s terrific. I think it’s incredible for another generation of kids and people out there to discover it 20 years later. Especially if it’s for those cool little moments, the Marcia and Jan dynamic, and “sküle.” The things that we really fought so hard to keep in the movie, that those are the things that are getting appreciated. She also talks about the iconic "sküle" Is it validation that your instincts were right?That’s a great validation. I mean, really, I remember with “sküle” the director just kept saying, “Why are you saying it this way?” And I kept saying, “Can somebody please pull up an episode? That’s how she said it!” and the director said, “Can you just do one where you say ‘school’? Because we really just want to have the alternate.” And Jennifer’s kicking me under the table and she’s like, ‘No, no, don’t.’ [Laughs] So I kept doing it, and I don’t think I ever gave them the option!
