Let's perpetuate more misogyny against women musicians. :deadbanana:

she can have as many bfs as she wants but the fact that she jumps from one to another so quickly just seems in poor taste in my opinion. I would say the same if she was a guy

I'm from America and I immediately thought the same thing when I saw the new Pizza Hut pizza with hotdogs in the crust... I think everyone is guilty of saying things like these.

oh my god that looked horrible

The Dixie Chicks did nothing wrong what so ever. Ariana was wrong to lick the donut but her comments on America are perfectly valid.

She's free to dislike America, but she might want to be careful about killing her chances at what is by far her most relevant market.

Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn

Alright. Usually people have a double standard when it comes to this.

I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.

In case you're not an American or if you're an American living in a... patriotic area, it's not uncommon for Americans in certain areas to hate on our own country. I doubt that most people who do this truly hate living here/being an American citizen, but there are a variety of reasons for us to not be blindly proud of being American.

Let's not forget that Ariana is American. I think that it's different when AMERICANS rag on the US, as opposed to Sam Smith (for example). Besides, are people really gonna believe that Ariana hates the US because of oversized donuts? Are people gonna actually get offended over that? :deadbanana:

I agree. Plus remember, she has traveled abroad. There are plenty of countries that love food and have cuisine to die for, yet they've managed not to have quite the same health issues. We, people from the States, generally tend to go so over the top with our food choices, preferring things as fatty and greasy as possible in ridiculous portions. I mean, pizza with hot dog crusts, fried everything, not to mention our bacon obsession. Instead of savoring natural flavors, we dip everything in grease and salt. It's really bad that we are known GLOBALLY for this. I think that's what she's inferring. I mean, it's so bad our own First Lady has tried pointing it out! I'm sure she will face backlash for this, which I understand, but I honestly don't believe she hates her homeland, especially when she has had such good fortune here. Maybe she can turn the conversation around though, because she has lots of very young fans. It would be nice to have one more voice to speak on healthy living.

Anyway, I'm way more upset about her attitude. She behaved like an entitled brat.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

Its obnoxiously obvious that her statement was leaning towards a completely non serious, sarcastic side. And for people to take it seriously is just hilarious yet worrying.

From what I understood from reading the letter is that she did buy the donuts, so her licking them is non problematic, she can be goofy and silly around her new boyfriend all she wants. However, I will not justify her brat like behavior, for someone that studies Kabbalah she's pretty careless and clueless about her surroundings' reactions, that employee is not obligated to hear her cussing or bear her annoying attitude.

Yeah we have an obesity issue in America but nobody is forcing us to EAT any of it. It's there if we want it. That is what is so great about this country.

She is free to hate America even if comments like that make me cringe, but America has made her filthy rich. And really if she cares so much about promoting good eating habits then she should use her celebrity to do so. Making fun of the situation just shows how immature and thoughtless she is.

We are all human and we do and say stupid things sometimes so she shouldn't be burned at the stake, however I never liked her crappy club music to begin with so peace out Ariana! lol.

I would have no problem eating that donut after she licked it. As a matter of fact I would eat her donut anytime!
