Instead of singing with a jazz legend for thousands of people at Jazz Festivals around the world, and getting praise from a record producer who has won 27 Grammys and produced the highest selling album of all time....Gaga should go and be interviewed by some random Youtuber.

:dies:

Yeah...I would rather Gaga continue to associate herself with legends and up and coming legends! Her goal shouldn't be to impress a group of young guys on GGD.

If you thought I wanted her to not have this level of adulation and be something like a media *****, then you need to think and read my first comment in this thread. Obvioulsy that's not what I mean.

YASSSSS! He came out and introduced them :legend:

OMG, that's the show you attended the other night, right?  How exciting it must have been for you to see Quincy Jones introduce Gaga and Tony.   :legend:

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

When Quincy Jones can give those kind of accolades you know you have hit the really big time!

Definitely!  I'm sure Gaga felt completely elated after reading Quincy Jones' Instagram post.

I'm sure praise from him is worth more than youtube views and charts. That's what real musicians/artists want: recognition from those respected and admired in the business, real legends that can appreciate talent. It makes the struggle worth it.

This right here!!  I couldn't have said it better myself.  I'm sure Gaga cares about the charts so that her albums sell in order to maintain her large budgets for videos and props for her tours as well as to keep her label happy.  At the end of the day, however, Gaga cares more about the recognition and validation she receives from legends in the music industry.    That's what brings her true happiness.

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

I didn't think that. I was referring to the implication that Gaga should step it up or do something different than she's doing now, to entertain the people here who follow youtubers like they are some kinds of celebrities. I wasn't saying that you were one of those types or that you weren't interested in more important validation for Gaga.

Wow, you're so lucky to have witnessed that!  LMAO!!!  He called her a hip hop artist?  :dies:   It's ok, though, she received his praise and that's all that matters at the end of the day.

I know this is said every time she is photographed or mentioned by some body, but wouldn't it be great if they could work together?

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
