Her overall behavior was rude, that's out of the question. But honestly about the America comment, I also say that I hate my country from time to time, it's not a big deal. When I do that I usually refer to one specific thing that goes wrong in my country or annoys me & tbh unhealthy food would be an occasion to drop that expression.
