Read all about it here with personal statement from them: http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/neon-jungle-have-split-up/

This is so sad cause of all the recent girl groups (Fifth Harmony, Little Mix, etc) this was the one group I hoped would do it , it was something about their style and music it didn't feel like a girl group it felt like an empowering voice (the album is all about voicing who you are and who you want to be). I am shocked their singles didn't make it big globally.

Take a look at their 5 and only singles

I saw this earlier and was so sad about it... Loved them and their music, can't wait to see how they do on their own...

I loved Braveheart but the rest of their music was nothing great. Sad for them but I won't miss them.

Mess @ "From being unknown, to being recognised all over the world." :smh:

Why do people care about these random girl groups like Fifth Harmony and Little Mix. They all suck.

they made the mistake of releasing the only good songs as singles and then cramming the album full of filler with little to no promo

only 6 tracks worth keeping out of the 15-16, I would've just released an EP

I want to know how girl groups can split up if their lead single flops or their debut album flops but boybands are kept on their labels regardless of how bad they flop. Union J are still together, Rixton are still together, Stereo Kicks seem to be together, and they all flopped harder than Neon Jungle. I think it's all s-xism on the part of record labels. They genuinely don't believe it's worth putting stock in a girlgroup if nothing's sticking because they think the fans won't be as devoted as little girls are to boybands.

My thoughts exactly. But then, I could say the same for a lot of albums these days. 50% standouts, 50% mediocre filler. it seems to be the standard practice for making an album in general. Digital downloading means we can just buy the best tracks, single or not on an album, so there's no point buying the majority of albums anymore as so many of them follow this 50/50 model that wastes your money.
