blacklistedd 599 Posted July 3, 2015 Share Posted July 3, 2015 We were saying the same thing about Will.i.am (I think we forget about this sometimes) with similar answers to the ones we're seeing now, yet he produced one of the best songs on ARTPOP.I certainly think its one of the best songs on ARTPOP but the problem with your point of view is that you are in the minority. Most people loathe Fashion!I personally hate will.i.an and I think the song is great in spite of his involvement, not because of it. It totally harked back to Gagas faux-disco days. I wouldn't give him every ounce of credit for why the song is good. Its not like it sounds like typical will.i.am wannabe robot garbage.That being said, I don't think Max Martin and Gaga sound like an interesting combination. Theres so many producers out there that make dope ass music, Max and Will are bores. And while I love Fashion! its not like ARTPOP couldn't have been better. That's not to say that it would make Gaga's music more generic as she would contribute lyrics, melody, etc. Max just knows how to put everything together. Remember, she has many "generic trash" songs like Just Dance and Starstruck. Gaga just brainwashed her way too obsessed fans into thinking that being different is the main thing to aspire to.
