€ 1,600,000,000 in 6 days. Thom Feeney's trying it with a moving Indiegogo page.

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/greek-bailout-fund#/story

"All this dithering over Greece is getting boring. European ministers flexing their muscles and posturing over whether they can help the Greek people of not. Why don't we the people just sort it instead? The European Union is home to 503 million people, if we all just chip in a few Euro then we can get Greece sorted and hopefully get them back on track soon. Easy."

To persuade people to help, every donation gets something in return:

€ 3 - Postcard of Tsipras

€ 6 - Greek Feta and Olive Salad

€ 10 - Bottle of Ouzo

€ 25 - Greek Wine

€160 - Greek Food Basket

€ 5000 - Greek holiday for 2

€ 1.000.000 - Everything above

All the products are produced in Greece to further boost economy.

The campaign has received a wide coverage in international media and at the time of posting 39,892 people raised €666,936 in just 3 days. The campaign ends after 6 more days. If the goal is not reached, all money will be returned. It is still unclear if the Greek government would accept the money if the goal has been reached.

So what are you waiting for :Chica:

I bought myself a nice bottle of Greek wine :Chica:

Yeah, why don't we pay to temporally fix something people we already pay with our money have tried fixing with our money and failed? Sounds like a good plan.

We are already paying for Greece's government fails, it's time to find a solution that doesn't cost tons of money to all of us.

Lol they'll need like 7 billion more this summer alone. This 1.6 billion is only for June. Every week of July they also have more IMF loans to pay and next to that also ECB loans.

We should just let it go. It's nothing bad if Greece leaves the Eurozone. In fact all indexes rose like 1% today in Europe despite of Greece being bankrupt.
