Of course, there must only be one rational explanation - Nasa was trying their best to prevent us knowing about a mysterious alien race.Well, not quite. The most likely explanation is much more mundane, with the sudden blackout caused by either a camera glitch or a fragment of space debris. What i find the most fascinating about it all from a tech geek perspective is how slim the chances are of any major technical issues going on with equipment like that. Usually NASA stuff is validated to literally never fail. This is a very rare occurence and as tech improves more and more this becomes less likely.
