She does what she wants (pretty much).Dislike: Sometimes her integrity seems like delusional brattyness, like she just goes too far, trying too hard to be "herself". Someone brought it up in another thread recently, but an example is the Applause performance where it was Wizard Of Oz themed. It was so lame. She needs to let people say no to her sometimes. I have a problem with the fact that she just can NOT cope with negativity and this, as an artist, can't work. She needs to learn to accept the fact that some (many) people don't like her and just live with it. Instead of it, she feels the need to tweet them or sh*t like that. I personally don't care since it's her own fault.I do however think that it isn't beneficial if an artist blocks out all negativity and criticism. Good, constructive criticism can be useful if you can appreciate it and pull something positive out of it. Twitter isn't exactly a place for that but hey if she wants to make herself feel bad because of some internet comments then by all means. She's a grown ass woman, she should know better. freebit 6,240 Posted July 6, 2015 Share Posted July 6, 2015 Likes:-Her overall talent and the fact that when she's on, she's on and can kill it onstage.-Her diverse taste in music and influences-Her bravery when it comes to music, performances, and her career.-Her penchant for a good melody (which is crucial for me when it comes to pop music)-The fact that despite everything she really seems to believe in herself. Some may say she's pretentious or vain, but confidence makes for a great star IMO (look at Kanye, Brandon Flowers etc.). Plus she has the talent to back it up.-I like that she's a hard worker and will immerse herself in whatever she's doing.-Her passion.-That you can tell that she LOVES what she does. Dislikes:-Being an open nerve in public at times (Marilyn Monroe lighter, social media outbursts) not a good look for her IMO, but hopefully that was a 2011-14 phase.-Her habit of caring a little too much what other people are saying about her - which is understandable, but could affect her creative output and make her too vulnerable and self-conscious.-Her stubborn love of Terry Richardson and R. Dislikes: -If she doesn't get her way (*cough* IWBWU to Dope) she has a fit and "rebels". Does that make sense? Idk it just seems like she tries too hard to be rebellious sometimes. -The little fibs we get ie Americano Mariachi Version, the extended Judas video, unreleased songs released thru ARTPOPAPP.. ill never let any of that go. -How long she makes us wait for new music -she is kind of pretentious sometimes but thats what makes her Gaga, no one can pull it off and make it classy like her lol. -During ARTPOP even though she said she didn't wanna look pretty, thats what the G.U.Y video was all about I sound like I'm stuck up her ass but I just cant think of all of them. I agree with a lot of the previous responses about both likes and dislikes.
