Melech 9,900
Of course im gonna do what your friend does. It's his logic, you liked it, so how can you oppose it? What they preach is real Judaism because it's peaceful, unlike that interpretation you gave.Israeli state brought even more racism towards jewish people thanks to decades of oppression and killing people who are of different ethnicity.I can say that this is real Judaism and these people have all the arguments to backup their claim. While zionism is rather new and it brought nothing but hate and immoral killing for the land of "chosen people".It's highly silly to say that anti-semitism only exists because of Israel. You are not Jewish or of Jewish ancestry. You in fact don't know the stereotypes that Jews live with. The jokes that we hear. "Oh you are of Jewish ancestry? Now I know where your nose comes from""Where does a jew family research?- In ash""What is the difference between a Jew and a pizza?- The pizza doesn't scream in the oven" So please, don't tell me or anyone here where anti-semitism comes from because those things are not because of Israel. You are instead of the opinion that Jews shouldn't have an own state. I guess you'd prefer the oppression of Jewish people.

They got criticized several time within the Jewish community. lego 44,165
Flotilla passengers say Israeli navy tasered activist during raid A ship that was seized by the Israeli navy after attempting to breach the siege on Gaza has arrived at the coastal Israeli city of Ashdod, just north of the Strip, Middle East Eye has learned. The Israeli army released a statement in Hebrew saying that the Marianne, a boat from the self-styled Freedom Flotilla that the navy captured in the early morning hours, has arrived at the port. Basil Ghattas, a Palestinian member of the Israeli Knesset who was onboard the ship, told MEE that the Israeli navy "violently" took over the Marianne at 2am Palestine time. Ghattas said the some of the activists used "passive resistence tactics" during the raid and that Swedish activist Charlie Andreasson was injured after a navy soldier used a taser on him. This differed from the Israeli military's version of events. The Hebrew statement said that there had been no violence used by either the protesters or the soldiers. "This is clearly pirate work," Ghattas said. "We were kidnapped for 24 hours." He and former Tunisian president Moncef Marzouki, who will be flown to Paris in the morning, were released immediately, Ghattas told MEE. The other activists on board were detained and will likely be held for a few days before being deported. Ghattas said that the Israeli Knesset would attempt to carry out sanctions against him. "I suspect this will go on for a few months," he said. "They will attempt to take some privileges away from me ... perhaps remove me from a committee." "But this was a calculated risk," Ghattas continued. "I did this to try to focus the media on the blockade [of Gaza], which is illegal." The Israeli military's move to capture the ship was an "illegal action done by a state against the ship," he said. "Those responsible should be held accountable by international courts." Those on board the ship will be transported by the military to the interior ministry, Israel's Channel 2 reported. The Israeli military has closed off the port to the media. Three other vessels in the flotilla headed back to their points of origin after the interception of the Marianne, according to reports. Onboard the Marianne, in addition to Ghattas and Marzouki, were 15 other passengers, including Spanish member of European parliament Ana Miranda, plus the ship's captain. The flotilla was carrying humanitarian aid for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which has been under siege by Israel since 2007. http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/breaking-flotilla-ship-captured-israeli-navy-arrives-ashdod-207929279 FreePalestine

lego 44,165
please. Of course they would say things like that. Where are the source they tasered him, huh? What is their source? I guess they know if they were tasered or not. Funny that you assume they all lie tho. Next time (if) something bad happens to you, I hope no one believes you because you don't have "the source". (and before you misinterpret this, like some others here, try to understand what I meant). Last time activists were killed, now they were literally kidnapped in international waters. And you still don't see anything wrong with it. FreePalestine

Pandemiya 61
There are countless historic references to Palestine to counter Israeli denial such as: 1150 BC: “Peleset transliterated from hieroglyphs as P-r-s-t referring to the people and land of the Philistines during Egypt’s Twentieth Dynasty. Peleset means invader in Old Hebrew. The Philistines got their name because the Israelites called them invaders, they were invaders in Israel, they came from Crete. What do the current false "Palestinians" and Philistines have in common? They are both invaders. Where exactly is Crete? http://www.worldatlas.com/aatlas/infopage/medsea.gif - Who were the Philistines? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philistines Aegean (Greek) peoples from an island 2,500 kilometers away from Israel. What cities did they exactly found and settle in? Let's see: "The land of the Philistines, called Philistia, was a Pentapolis in south-western Levant comprised the five city-states of Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Ekron, and Gath." - No one can claim Philistine descent, they disappeared as a recognizable people within early C.E. They most likely assimilated with the Israelites living close to their areas. The same thing occurred with Ammonites and Moabites assimilating with Nabataean Arabs. - True identity of the modern-day "Palestinians"? Hamas leader admits "Palestinians" are an invention to steal Israel: http://www.israeltoday.co.il/News/tabid/178/nid/23179/language/en-US/Default.aspx - Flag of "Palestine"? Not historical and represents nothing. Flag of Palestine vs. Jordan: But wait! Flag of 1939 Palestine??? http://www.nowtheendbegins.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/flag-of-palestine-israel-before-1948-1939-larousse-french-dictionary.jpg So, what is the truth? :)
Didymus 34,380
The truth is that arguing about whether or not Palestine is a historically verifiable political and/or geographical entity has no bearing whatsoever on the conflict at hand.
Pandemiya 61
The truth is that arguing about whether or not Palestine is a historically verifiable political and/or geographical entity has no bearing whatsoever on the conflict at hand.It is very so relevant. It has never existed and the Philistines were completely unrelated to the Israelites nor Ishmaelites. They argue that they're ancient peoples who lived in the area for thousands of years and ignorant Europe and America believe that. They also claim the Israelites have 0 claim to Israel, when it has been ours since 5000 BC. Is that something to not argue about? I think it is, because it's the root of the conflict and it's not true.Arabs also did the same in Phoenicia, they immigrated there en masse, and now look. Hezbollah is everywhere, the true Lebanese Canaanites are afraid to go outside their homes. It's the same case with Israel, but we wouldn't let them take over as easily as they did in Lebanon.
