What I said wasn't a joke. They're NOT allowed to go back to where their ancestors came from. I wonder why?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_September_in_Jordan

Arabs leaving Israel during 1948 and post 1948 were pushed back in by other Arabs to ensure that they would be a problem for the Jews for decades to come. It's not rocket science to understand this.

Ireand is one of the better countries, yes. Human rights records have nothing to do with that I said, just take a look at these pages and you'll get what I mean:

And is even by Israel regarded as the most pro-Palestine nation in Europe :hunty: So that's that logic out the window.

I don't know enough about the daily ongoings of anti-semitic incidents in other countries (and incidents in the UK don't surprise me at all :emma: ) but I wasn't suggesting they don't happen, merely that many governments and parliaments in europe's (implied) support of Palestine roots from a human rights issue, not anti-semitism.

:lmao:

Can you stop reading that into everything anyone says omg. That is not at all what I mean and there's not even anything in the text that implies it is.

God didy :smh: I asked you for understanding because I didn't undesrstand and instead you making a fool out of me.

I'd say Sweden is, not Ireland (would they be on the top 5???) :emma:

And yeah, I get what you mean now.

Because you didn't try and because asking me if I think antisemitism is justified is a direct and undeserved insult to me.

How is question an insult? :duck:  You write in a very tough english to understand for me. If you are directly offended by a question like that, the problem lays at you, not me. I even stated that I didn't understand and wanted to ask you. I never knew asking is wrong.

You should've known that my answer was gonna be no :dies: When would I ever say that anisemitism is in any way okay or justified? :lmao: The fact that you leave room to doubt that, I consider that as an insult, yes, especially in a post that attempts to refocus on the political elements of the conflict that are so often ignored in favor of empty cultural claims that hardly even matter nowadays. It's an easy way out and I despise it.

Well it could be now, but according to times of Israel-  whilst Ireland and Spain have pro-Palestine stances we rarely provoke anti-Israeli stuff (perhaps unlike the Nordic nations) - their rough word not mine. At the very least it emphasises that pro-Palestine doesn't necessarily equate to anti-Israel which definitely doesn't equate to anti-semitism.

The support of Palestine for Sweden, Spain, Denmark, and England is most definitely based on antisemitism. They just hate us and feel the need to support anything that is our enemy. They don't know a single thing about what really happened(s). But yes, I agree with you on Ireland's stance being for human rights and not antisemitism.

I think the Palestinian refugee's need better treatment than 'go back to you ancestors home'

The problem I have seen from previous attempts to by the U.S. To help them is that their leadership (Arafat) steals a lot of it for themselves and Hamas uses it for military.

Veterans Call on Israel to Free International Flotilla, End Siege of Gaza

From Veterans For Peace

U.S. State Department Should Demand Immediate Release of all Passengers

St. Louis, MO. — Veterans For Peace applauds the international Freedom Flotilla 3, including prominent VFP member, Colonel Ann Wright (USAR Retired), and the courage of all who attempted to break the Israeli siege of Gaza this week.

We deplore the Israeli government’s illegal seizure, in international waters, of the lead boat, the Marianne of Gothenburg from Sweden, and the illegal abduction of her crew and passengers. We call for the immediate release of the ship, along with its crew and passengers and all of their confiscated property including their video recording devices, tapes, disks cards and any other devices they used to record exactly what happened when and after the boat was commandeered.

We are also disturbed by credible reports now being heard that flotilla volunteers were subjected to unnecessary levels of violence from Israeli military personnel who reportedly tased four unarmed civilians.  At least 9 crew and passengers are currently detained. These actions of the Israeli government confirm Israel’s status as a true rogue state and demand a strong response from the United States Government.

In 1801 President Thomas Jefferson sent United States Naval ships to the Mediterranean Sea to protect U.S. ships from the danger of the Barbary Pirates.  More recently U.S. naval vessels were dispatched to the seas off the coast of Somalia to intervene against pirates from that country. Whether piracy is carried out by the Barbary Pirates, the pirates of Somalia or the Israeli navy, seizing a ship in international waters and abducting its crew and passengers is an act of piracy that flagrantly violates international maritime law.

Article 87(a) of the UN Convention on the Laws of the Seas provides for general freedom of navigation on the high seas, and Article 88 states: “The high seas shall be reserved for peaceful purposes.”  Article 89 states: “No State may validly purport to subject any part of the high seas to its sovereignty.”

We note the sharp contradiction between U.S. policy against piracy from 1801 through the present, supporting international maritime law, and the failure of our government to condemn or sanction acts of piracy by the Israeli government using boats, helicopters and weapons provided to Israel by the United States – even when that military assistance was used to murder nine Turkish civilians including a Turkish-American citizen in the previous Freedom Flotilla in 2010.

We therefore call upon the U.S. government to immediately cease military aid to Israel as required by the U.S. Arms Export Control Act and to refer any future Israeli crimes of piracy and abduction against American citizens to the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

Veterans For Peace wholeheartedly support the demands of the Freedom Flotilla. The Israeli siege of Gaza must end, as well as the ongoing Israeli occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem, both of which are in clear violation of international laws including United Nations Security Resolution 242 – which calls for Israel to withdraw from the lands it seized in the 1967 War – and numerous requirements of the Fourth Geneva Convention.

We encourage our members to contact the Israeli Embassy at the telephone numbers below to demand the release of the Marianne, all of the currently imprisoned Freedom Flotilla activists and all of their possessions.

And to end the illegal siege of Gaza.

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/26/opinion/the-uns-gaza-report-is-flawed-and-dangerous.html?ref=topics&_r=0

This article is 'opinion' as is the those who suggest the Israel control of Gaza should be lifted.

Since I am not a first person witness its my 'opinion' as well that lifting the current siege would only escalate munitions entering Gaza and hence continue the military conflict.    It may not be the best solution but allowing weapons into the region is worse.

Additionally;  Criticism of the IDF is generally one sided without any verification or any alternate idea's on how they can defend themselves from terrorist attacks.   Simply standing down is suicide.

Denmark is antisemitic right? :fail: You got to be kidding me... let's got back to WW II. The Danes agreed to let Hitler pass through Denmark as long as they wouldn't get involved. But when the Danish resistance realised they were ready to deport jewish Danes , they organised themselves to send them to Sweden, check them in under fake ID in hospital so when the german came a minority of jews were found and deported.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rescue_of_the_Danish_Jews

I am not even talking about the jewish refugees from eastern Europe that were granted asylum and danish citizen... one of my good friend has both her parents in that situation. She is jewish living in Denmark, she dated a muslim and never experienced anti semitism. You just sound completely ignorant and play the victim card. It's getting old.

I will not even start about the amount of Danes since the 70's going to kibboutz in Israel, but for sure it must be because they hate Israel and Jews right?
