If she released DWUW I would lose so much respect for her, but it's not like I'd hate her or something. Other than that, I hate the puking thing.

If there was something she did that I could never "get over" or ignore, then I doubt i'd still be stanning for her after that :emma:  So, no.

I don't understand why she had to do a song like Do What U Want with rapists like R Kelly and Terry Richardson, but she was mentally unstable at that time so I've forgiven her.

What does everyone who says fur think of the meat dress? It does seem a little hypocritical to attack Gaga for wearing animal fur but not animal flesh.

I mean I'll admit to hypocrisy on this. I don't like her wearing fur and I also believe that the meat industry is cruel and unnecessary. I still think the Meat Dress is rather cool. I suppose I give her some leeway because it's still widely acceptable to eat meat, the meat dress is no more cruel than cows slaughtered for dinner.

It's hard for me to separate my love of the piece aesthetically and my love of such a bold and culturally subversive statement with my strong feelings against the meat industry.

With fur it seems a lot easier to condemn. It's not a bold, subversive, different, transcendent thing to wear fur. Many people have worn fur, it's hardly some culture-bending statement. It's just a pretty coat at the expense of a tortured animal.

While I disagree strongly with wearing fur, Gaga has never done anything that has been unforgivable.

Fur as well (does she wear real fur though)? Though unfortunately most of the makeup I've seen her use test on animals, and she obviously eats meat. Of course I can't hate her for that, just like I can't hate my family, my friends, and the majority of the world for eating animal products. I just wish it was something more people were aware of. Animals deserve our love.

There was this video of a possum (or something possum-like), sitting amongst other dead animals, and it slowly raised it's head and all of the fur that once was on it's head and around it's eyes was torn off, leaving the remaining skin exposed and covered in blood. It was skinned alive, and this poor soul was conscious and able to raise it's head to blink at a camera. I will never forget this video, I don't think I've ever cried so hard imagining the pain this animal had to endure all in the name of fashion. I don't know if Gaga and those who wear fur know what happens to these creatures, it makes me so sad.

As a vegan, I don't see wearing the meat dress any different to people eating animals products on a daily basis. It is hypocritical though, I agree. I don't think people realise what happens to animals everyday at the expense of human greed.
