Battle 4 Ur Life 6,698
Yes, absolutely. with ARTPOP I began to understand how much more chaotic reality is in fact, it's not really a piece of fiction. I understood that absolutely anything can happen, at any given time, and you just have to believe in youself in order to endure, overcome, and in the end evolve. and that you can't really depend on everybody's opinion and you can't be worried about pleasing others because everyone is living their different "world". and the overall pace of the record shows me that you can try to escape reality as much as you want by only living to have fun and pleasure (all songs) and avoid your problems (MJH) but there always comes a point where you have to evaluate your choices, what and who actually matters for you (Dope) so you can always start again (Gypsy) and become who you were born to be (Applause). that's more or less how ARTPOP changed me. “Fantastic, chic, freak, slay.”
Curunir 7,510
actually both albums made (and still make) me feel amazing when i listen to them, so if that's considered change then absolutely
Mister Gaga 22,889
this, and ever since ARTPOP I'm more appreciated to art and more into it, I went through self-discovering journey before, during and after the album to figure who am I and what I would be and do, but I discovered nothing but the possibilities are limitless, an-e-thung. Although I won't deny the era was a messy ****. this x10000000000
Guest
ARTPOP changed my life way more than Born This Way ever did. I don't know why, but it encouraged me to be myself and accept who I was and follow my passions way more than any of her other music. That's why it's got such a special place in my heart. scorpion 409
Yes it did. Ive always said Gaga unknowingly is writing a soundtrack to my life. But really all it is, is giving a voice to ALL artists out there. Would be artists... insecure artists.... Amateur artists... professional... famous... all. Her lyrics serve as a pedastool. To empower all of us. As individuals, and as creators. That our work is sacred in any form. That we dont need to justify it or question it.This is the message ARTPOP ( title track) brought to my life. Its been a mantra to me. To honor every ounce of myself. Just like Hair had a significant impact on me despite some not fully understanding the metaphor. This is the true genius of Lady Gaga. She never fully delves into explaining it because she wants us to experience it. She very much has always had the intentions of giving her audience a platform to feel empowered. ARTPOP is like the big melodic F*ck you of pop ive waited for for a life time and didnt even fully realize it.
Antidote 95
Not really tbh. It didn't have an impact on me. But it showed me that I truly love her and stay at her side even if I don't really like the album that much, because I love her as an artist and person in general and I would never just move on from her
Ronk 14,762
Gaga has changed me, not just ARTPOP. I live outside the space time continuum.
