THIS IS TOO MUCH. I 'like' taylor but i mean she is greedy as ****. She exposed spotify, tidal and now apple music like she was the queen of the world. I'm sure her albums sales will start fading and she will finally join some of these streaming services.

so you'd let people use your products for free without any payment? And I would be fair in calling you greedy if you said you wouldn't do that?

I'm a photographer and in a way she is kinda contradicting herself.

 

She holds the rights to any images that are taken of her meaning she owns them completely and is able to use it for whatever promotional material she wants when she wants to. Meaning any profit made, the photographer won't get any of it. So whats going on Taylor???

She has so many double standards though, she wants artists/photographers/filmmakers etc to get a fair deal AS LONG as it doesn't involve her

Just like when her and Sony made Shane Dawson remove his parody of Blank Space, he would have got a lot of money from the views and it would have been fair because he didn't break ANY rules, but because Taylor didn't like it she refused to let him do his job and earn money 

So yeah what Taylor is doing with Apple is fair, but that doesn't make her a fair person at all

And those other artists, they will be around too after 3 months, there are still more ways to get money, than just Apple Music...

Good for her. If I were a billionaire I would have done (or at least wanted to do) the same thing. 

Its not always about being greedy. It's about being paid for your work and not letting others take advantage of you. Even if it's just a few dollars, I hate people stealing from me or ripping me off.

Taylor Swift responds to photographer who criticised her image rights policy!

 

A protest that was initially hailed as a victory for artist rights by many was later questioned by photographer Jason Sheldon, who challenged her to reverse her own stance on image rights.

Sheldon claimed that, when photographers attend her concerts, they are asked to sign expansive contracts which stipulate that the photographs can only be used once and that worldwide rights belong to the artist.

A spokesperson for Swift has now told Digital Spy: "The standard photography agreement has been misrepresented in that it clearly states that any photographer shooting 'The 1989 World Tour' has the opportunity for further use of said photographs with management's approval.

 

"Another distinct misrepresentation is the claim that the copyright of the photographs will be with anyone other than the photographer - this agreement does not transfer copyright away from the photographer.
 

"Every artist has the right to and should protect the use of their name and likeness."

Photographers shouldn't profit off of other people's work if they don't want them too.
