artRaver 3,188
Because I'm sick of seeing "does gaga have too many tattoos" look at Pete wentz. Look at brendon urie. Look at any true artist. They're covered in ink. Sorry you're used to seeing manufactured pop b---hes writing their next number one hit just for the sake of having another number 1 under their belt. Sorry I stan for artistic integrity? Sorry I want the fans to stop trying to control the artist?sorry I want authenticity back in the music industry? Do you realize how rude you sound right now? The amount of body modification someone has doesn't indicate if they're a true artist or not. There's manufactured artists involved in every genre of music not just Pop.You want the fans to stop trying to control the artist, but can't even admit that deep inside you're doing the exact same thing everyone else is doing. Except you want rock music instead. ✿ cherry blossom girl ✿

Generally classic rockers weren't covered in them. Body art is a Millennial Generation fad. Rihanna has tons of tats and is the most manufactured (non-songwriting) pop female of Gaga's era. If gaga keeps making dance music she won't last. If fall out boy made various versions of sugar we're going down, they'd be a nobody nobody would care about them. If panic made multiple albums like their first one, they'd be boring. Sorry I want my faves to switch things up. "Swear to shake it up If you swear to listen. Still so young and desperate for attention"- panic at the disco

loribb 338
She will do a rock album and reinvent herself into a rockstar a la Freddie Mercury or someone similar and then it is going to be a new trend like electropop was a new trend when she brought it 7 years ago. Just wait
Levine 23,562
I just need a quality album, great songs and a piece of work in which she can express all her vocal POWER!
ARTPOPchamp 292
I'm not afraid of her rock attitude, I've enjoyed it way back during The Fame, Gaga's always exuded a rockstar attitude lyrically, aesthetically, ideologically, I don't know why people are so against it now. Gaga has always been more rock in her aesthetic and sound, people act like its new.

Rihanna has tons of tats and is the most manufactured (non-songwriting) pop female of Gaga's era. I agree with everything you said but body art is not a "millennial generation fad"; people get tattoos for many reasons, a lot of people just see a tattoo but to the person who has it, it has much more deeper meaning.. like Gaga's peace sign tattoo, she got it at a time when there was a lot of chaos around her and she heard John Lennon's Give Peace a Chance and was so inspired by John, she got the tattoo. Tattoos have various meanings to people, to classify it as just a "millennial generation fad" is completely erroneous and shallow minded.

Sorry I want my faves to switch things up. "Swear to shake it up If you swear to listen. Still so young and desperate for attention"- panic at the disco No offence but do you listen to other rock music than just Panic at the Disco? They only do one type of rock, there is a huge umbrella under the rock category I would be glad to see Gaga do ranging from Queen's to Alanis Morissette's to Celine Dion's soft rock to electrorock like her own Electric Chapel to the Ramones to The Killers to The Darkness to Neon Lights to Janis Joplin to P!nk and Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan, Marianas Trench to Kiss, Warrant, Def Leppard and Aerosmith, even more metal rock like Judas Priest and Anthrax. People hear the word rock and it freaks them out because they are only familiar with one idea of what rock music is and don't realize so many of the biggest songs ever that they've heard and like are in fact rock.
