I hate Gypsy. I don't say it is a filler because if Gaga never liked the end production she could of changed it

Not every Gaga song is a masterpiece, it wouldn't be possible. But if a song is on an album, it surely has a some kind of reason. For example, I don't like the song "Teeth" but it still doesn't ruin my experience with the perfect album, The Fame Monster. There are also many songs on The Fame, Born This Way and ARTPOP that I don't like, but I don't want to say they're "bad" songs - I just don't like them. Everyone is allowed to have an opinion, that's what I'm talking about

Why is it up to fans and critics? A filler is a song that is used to fill up an album. Gaga's albums. So it is up to Gaga to decide.

The amount of songs written for an able has no bearing on whether one considers the album to have filler tracks or not.

It doesn't matter if Gaga herself likes a certain song or not. When it comes to a--lysing an album like this and deciding if all the songs are as strong as each other, or if there are some very strong tracks amongst a lot of of filler songs, there's no right or wrong answer. It's up to each individual listener to decide for themselves.

You could go in circles, debating for days over what's filler and what's not. It all comes down to personal taste.

She has a few. Again Again, Americano, Highway Unicorn, Fashion Of His Love, Fashion!, Jewels'N'Drugs are the most obvious. If you take your stan glasses off, you'll see that these songs are in no way better than Katy's, Rihanna's, Madonna's or Beyoncé's fillers.

I personally feel like some tracks are fillers, but they're obviously not fillers to her or they wouldn't be on the album. I feel like all of her albums except The Fame Monster could track to lose some tracks so that the best songs from the album shine even more. It's all just personal opinion though.

Even Gaga admits there are some songs she hates off her albums...Money Honey...Telephone...

 

Plus...there are some songs that definitely aren't that great and/or could've been replaced or made better

I think some of you guys misinterpret the term "filler". Artists consciously write fillers when they dont have enough material to fill an album. They force themselves to be creative so that they have enough material to release. That doesn't mean that the material they write as fillers is necessarily "bad".

Judging by how hard of a time Gaga has putting together a tracklist and only putting in the allowed number of songs, it seems highly unlikely there's such a thing as "fillers" nowadays. Especially for ARTPOP, where we know for a fact that there were more songs that she truely loved and wanted to release (may they rest in peace). I think the same applies to Born This Way.

The only album where I think Gaga could have consciously added fillers is The Fame. Not because I think the songs are bad, but because I think Interscope was able to put more pressure on the production of that record. Gaga already had some of her own songs beforehand, but once Interscope started pushing her as an artist she suddenly had a timeframe where an album had to be finished. In that context I could definitely see Gaga and her producers pushing themselves to fill the tracklist, but that doesn't say anything about the quality of the material. And it's all pure speculation.

We as fans have no idea what goes on in the studio. From our perspective it's impossible to say which songs are "fillers" because we simply don't know what went on in Gaga's head, and what exactly Interscope's role was during the creation of the albums.
