Knowing it's a winter release, maybe not. But it's going to be huge too ;) A close race definitely.

idk...Star Wars is a HUGE franchise and it's not just some random Christmas holiday movie...I don't think season matters. I think it will also be a close race, but Star Wars definitely has it's work cut out for it. The fans better support or they'll never forgive each other for letting a dino movie beat Star Wars :laughga:

idk...Star Wars is a HUGE franchise and it's not just some random Christmas holiday movie...I don't think season matters. I think it will also be a close race, but Star Wars definitely has it's work cut out for it. The fans better support or they'll never forgive each other for letting a dino movie beat Star Wars :laughga:

 

We'll see :) whatever happen I think JW supprised everyone. Nobody could have predicted it would have hit so high and it would have been a such serious contestant for this year box office

Exactly! Hope we get a sequel cuz of this...they would be stupid not to! :giveup:

but how are they going to continue the story? There is no way they will ever open another park. I noticed Henry Wu took the embryos off the island... He did have a deal with that guy (forget his name, the one who wanted to set the raptors loose) to genetically engineer mini indominus rexes for the military.... Even though that guy was eaten I wonder if he still goes through with it and then these Dino's are set loose in war zones... Either way Henry Wu is just an awful person

It depends on execution, please remember the prequel trilogy have somewhat tarnished a part of Star Wars legacy cos all three of them ain't up to expectation.

Knowing Disney's they will make it super family friendly.

So huge grossings are obvious.

They're probably going to explore the idea of dinos on the mainland, with Wu and an another corporation (Byosyn in the novel). Could be interesting :)

Colin Trevorrow confirms there will be no park in the sequel. The word 'World' may get another meaning.
