I'm team shorter. All her albums so far have unnecessary tracks.

She should leak more of her unreleased work tho ngl.

Sure I always want more music

Besides, each track will be someone's favorite and have special meaning to them....so no music is wasted in that way

Oh god, Imagine -by John Lennon- the slayage. I'd be here for it and, to be quite honest, ARTPOP is quite structured like that, it only needs intros like Queen Of The Clouds for each part.

true

Gaga knows everything but tracklisting

ARTPOP has a very strange tracklist

She should've split it into ART and POP parts

Depends what the music is like. An album shouldn't overstay its welcome. I'd rather a shorter album with no filler than a longer album with 5-6 filler tracks.

If the album can continue a generalized theme and keep the flow, then sure, but personally I feel an album that is anymore than 60 minutes is too long. A 60 minute album of about 15-20 songs where the momentum and themes flows nicely is what I like. The longer the album, the more filler tracks there are. I like how Brandon Flowers made his new album 10 tracks only, it's very cohesive and keeps it momentum, it's a nice dose of music, the perfect dose. With Adam Lambert's new album too, it's 11 songs, 14 with the bonus tracks, it's the perfect length.. But I do feel instead of doing all those Deluxe Editions etc, the artist should just include all the songs on one album and release it as one. With Gaga though, her voice and ideas are always so great, I always want more.

I think 10-13 tracks is a good length. She can always perform new songs on the tour or leak them, so I don't think all of the music necessarily needs to be put on an album.

Too many rappers on that one

Only one rapper is sufficient

I think 16 is the absolute maximum an album should ever have.

Well, as much as I love more and more music, I don't want longer albums. On the contrary, I think Born This Way is excessively long especially with the bonus tracks. And no matter what the concept of the album is about it will get more and more watered down.

10-12 songs and that's it. In that regard TF (the original tracklist with 13 songs including Again Again) and TFM are the perfect collections.

I will also give examples with Marina's FROOT and Lykke Li's I never learn (9 tracks) they are simply flawless immaculate collections. :legend:

Most of the albums have 12-14 songs (the deluxe versions.. .-.)

and i often think cool that gagas album have 15..  :queenga:

I mean if you love one artist you cant ge enough of him..

but 20 for an album are too much..

Even fillers are good for Gaga. I'm here for a 20 tracks album seriously. We could have ARTPOP Unreleased if ARTPOP was longer. And anyway music is not free, and I would like to pay for a real thing, which feel consistent, not 5 songs :neyde:

I don't know why Gaga's albums are shorter than some other Pop Stars. Anyway just my opinion, I'm fine with 15 tracks, but 15 tracks/3 years feels short (I'm trolling okay :lolly:)

No, I actually think they should be shorter. There's a reason why fans claim The Fame Monster is Gaga's best album, and it's because there are now low moments or not-so-amazing tracks. Shorter albums leave less room for errors and "filler" tracks and make it easier for only the very best tracks to make the cut. I mean just look how ARTPOP could've been:

1. Aura

2. Venus

3. G.U.Y.

4. Sexxx Dreams

5. MANiCURE

6. Do What U Want

7. ARTPOP

8. Mary Jane Holland or Swine

9. Dope

10. Gypsy

11. Applause

As much as I love the album, with a shorter tracklist, you get the not-so-liked tracks cut with only the best tracks remaining. This helps a) commercially because people are more likely to take the time to listen to the whole album since it's not 20 tracks long and b) critically because only the top tracks make the cut and there's less room for harsh critiques.
