Bette Davis 12,742
She should stick to what she's good at, Pop, but infuse it with inspiration from other genres I really like how she infused elements of 80s rock into BTW. Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

PartySick 160,205
MESS. Some of you are just expressing what YOU would like to hear/see, this isn't directed at you. The others, though...how can you be a Monster and say you know Gaga, then say "she needs to do this" "GP this, GP that" like do you think she cares about being popular? She'll make enough money to live off of and live lavish. She's been doing almost solely Jazz for the past year or so and she's filthy rich. She has a lot of supporters now and no matter what her next "move" is she WILL get backlash. If she does pop it'll be "Man, she's throwing away all that potential for basic pop again" If she does rock it'll be "What is she thinking?!" If she continues to do Jazz it'll be "God! So boring! Bye!" In the end, you're either here for her or you're not. Oh, to the person who said we wouldn't love her if it wasn't for the music, you don't speak for me. I thought she was cool and all but when I actually became a real fan, it was thanks to the Jamey tribute and how she preached self love and kindness. I fell in love with the woman, not the music. The music is the plus in my eyes. The fact that we have a caring, kind, talented, and relatable woman that is such a force in the world is the main point to me. And if you don't support her for her next album, for whatever reason, then there's the door Don't let it hit you on the Perez on your way out. Billionaires are a cancer. Even the ones you like. So i guess being a fan means i gotta like every decisions she makes? Sorry but no She wanted to do jazz? Good for her, i cant stop her. And it was a good career move. But did i enjoy it? Would i want her to do it again? Not anytime soon! Also if i dont like rock... Something wrong with she saying i hope she doesnt? I dont like rock and prefer she does pop of course she cant please everyone, and i wouldnt stop being a fan because of a rock album... But doesnt mean i have to like it

I'm not saying you should love everything she does, I'm saying if you're going to stop being a fan because she doesn't do what you want her to or what you think she needs to do then just leave already because no one needs "fans" like that. I'm also tired of seeing people obsess with what the GP will think or support. Like wgaf about that? As long as Gaga's making music she believes in, that should be the first priority. Having an opinion and a taste is fine, encouraged actually, but being little managers is just so damn annoying. Billionaires are a cancer. Even the ones you like. HORRORHOLIC 104
no thanks. was never into rock that much and another big gap between pop albums if she did rock album? no thanks!I don't think she should limit herself to only put out one certain type of music. I actually think she would be able to show of her talent more and it would suit her personality more. I love what Alice Cooper said http://gagadaily.com/story/lady-gaga-alice-cooper/
Thomas P 18,479
I'd be overwhelmed if she does something like this or covers this atleast These are my fav gaga vocals. Riot Poof 2,236
I think her take on rock should be electronic rock or piano rock. Otherwise, it would be too disorienting. The most important thing is that the music is great, regardless of genre. It would be so bad for Gaga to take a risk on a new genre and fail at it... even worse than delivering a(nother) lackluster dance-pop album. I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.

Creyk 17,817
I think you are spending a lot of time in here for being angry to Gaga because you didn't like the last album or something and worrying that much about her career moves. Did you know that Pink floyd, one of the greates rock bands (and musicians in general tbh) had half of their albums being a failure critically, even for most of the fans and many still argue for their quality till today? You can't like everything a musician releases and you can't expect him to do everything you want so that you can be pleased, it's pointless. I liked the last album (except for dope & J&D), what I don't really like is Gaga's attitude lately. I used to have so much faith in her and then she disappointed me so many times I want to be blown away by her again And yes of course I can't like everything she does, there are other artists to enjoy also and I do
aaronyoji 2,054
I'm pretty sure lots of fans stopped paying attention to her after she started doing JazzI am also sure I will not be the only person who discards her if she doesn't deliver AMAZING music with LG5. The longer you are in the business the harder it is to gain new fans because people already decided what they think about you. So if she does go for Rock it better slay because I'm at my wits end with this womanIt's not like she gains more and more fans with each release, you can also be left behind. Just look at what is Happening to Britneyyour comparing a woman who sang at the oscars to ****ing britney spears? opinion = invalidated.

We haven't seen her writing rock yet though, so for all we know she's better at rock than she is at pop . Well, except maybe if you want to count Yoü and I, which is an amazing song (especially live).
