It's very tiring seeing people bash on a great album and their only justification being that it sold "poorly" and doesn't sound "as good." I mean, I just fail to see what makes The Fame Monster such a perfect album, or even The Fame For me TF has some nice bops like Just Dance, Love Game or Paper Gangsta, and one amazing song - Paparazzi, but that's it, and TFM is like, well, nice enough I guess, but I don't feel like it's anything special, I mean, songs like Telephone, Alejandro, Speechless are absolutely average, and while Bad Romance might be a catchy record, that's all I see in it Meanwhile I feel like every other song on ARTPOP could have been a single, it's that every song is unique and the album as a whole sounds so fresh to me and so sweet to listen to - I mean, G.U.Y, Venus, Applause, ARTPOP, Gypsy - all absolutely amazing So, I don't know why so many people hate ARTPOP or say that it was worse than her previous albums, for me, every album has topped the previous one tbh TF<TFM<<<<<<BTW<<<<<<<<<<ARTPOP Come along with me and the butterflies and bees Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Fame was all about well you know, fame and who you can be famous without actually being rich and yada yada and you can sense that thought the whole album it all feels like it flowsThe Fame Monster is all about the dark sides of Fame and her fears, also very well represented. BTW was about freedom and loving yourself. I mean every track felt empowering and fresh and new and dirty it was just a fantastic album and my favorite.ARTPOP was just a mess, the songs were great don't get me wrong but NONE of them flowed well together. I still never got what the album was trying to convey. To many different ideas on one album, I remember her saying that if she didn't come out with BTW this woulda been the next album and been in the same vain as The Fame and that it was "The Fame Monsters little sister" but it doesn't feel like either of those albums. xKorix 156 Posted June 11, 2015 Share Posted June 11, 2015 Its a solid album, but it does not have the catchy hooks, addictive chorus's, and energy that her previous albums did, its a little flat and restrained. It is pretty consistent though, I dont skip many songs, it is one of her better album experiences. There's just nothing really radio worthy. But a lot of people are delusional, saying "every song could have been a single" or "if another artist released the album it would have been a hit because it's the GP's fault they didn't like Gaga." No! None of the songs were what people wanted. It's Gaga's fault that the album wasn't a hit, she didn't make music good enough for everyone and what people wanted to hear on the radio at that time.
