Wet Fire 6,939
Sometimes when you're old small things can cause big problems. I just hope such thing does not happen to him. May he get well as soon as possible!
paul 687
You'll get reimbursed. I was when Tony's show was cancelled due to a power outage last year at the venue. I dunno if they will be able to pay for flights & hotel because I never had event insurance and I've already been staying here/flew here - thank you though
BuzzcutSeason 3,307
It's just scary cause at Tony's age..the Flu is serious. I hope this doesn't lead to further problems, i think it's inspirational that he's even touring at his age, it just makes him a legend.
thesmu 0
I was at the show last night and while of course I was disappointed and had travelled for it etc like most people (or at least all the sane people) here I was really just worried for Tony. As others have said I've been concerned from the outset that the tour would be exhausting for him and can't help thinking of my own relatives at that age and how something small like a bad cold can be quite serious. I really hope they think carefully about continuing with the tour to be honest. Poor Tony :(
giskardsb 12,565
Staying active and engaged with life will help Tony live longer. Do you think he'd still be around if a performer like him was stuck at home inactive? There is a reason so many people die shortly after retiring. Tony will keep traveling and performing until he physically can't. If he dies while touring someday, he'd be the first to tell you he'd have it no other way. There is staying active and there is pushing yourself too hard - which is why we have to be understanding if shows are canceled etc.
