I don't exactly see how The Fame Monster is "dark" with exception of Speechless. And I certainly don't see how Born This Way was "too dark".  Not when it has BTW, TEOG, Hair and others in the same vein. I love these albums just as much as the next stan but I don't see how they're so dark. I've just come to the conclusion that pop dark is... Gaga's a singer. So what she sings about and how she sings it is what would make it dark too.
