I doubt Katy would be able to deliver with all the presure and I don't think she has enough talent to shine by herself, but that's not the point. The point is that she is at her peak and yes it would be a go idea to have her doing the halftime. TBH I want Gaga to wait at least 10 years before doing the SuperBowl halftime. This is something big, you don't rush those kinds of things and you need to be in the industry for a long time. I think Bruno Mars shot himself in the foot by doing the performance so early in his career and it showed... the performance was... forgettable. She's probably at her peak and this is a great gig to get. I can't see her turning it down. Plus it will probably boost her album sales AND ratings, and that's really what it's all about. Will she lip sync though? I thought it had to be live vocals? Honestly, I don't watch the Superbowl, though I would consider it if Gaga ever performed. And maybe she will one day.
