Mills 446
ummm... The Cats musical in a KP tour? I've never thought they'd incorporate that.
kissmy7 106
This is the same as saying Gaga should have given credit to Shakira for Mother GOAT, because Shakira used a floating head on her 2011 tour. This is what you got from all written? well she did give credit to Kylie via twitter for using the monster pit idea. (Aphrodite tour - splash area ) And she always credits where she has to credit. Because she has the value of respect. However nobody credits Gaga. not even so called fans. I'm not Gaga's lawyer but I can be her advocate of her creativity, talent, character, and inspiration. And looking at music nowadays I can really tell who is an artist and who is a puppet. It is not bad, but do not compare. An artist is a different thing from a singer. Gagz 2,572
Shakira just had a screen in head shape, different images from screen. It wasn't any floating head, and it wasn't her face with her voice either. Katy and Gaga used their horses for different reasons too though It's a horse. For a song with the word horse in the title. It's a very obvious connection that any normal person would make. I literally do not understand how people can think this idea is so creative that it was stolen. It's the obvious imagery for the song.

The post strictly said artists just credit other artists when they do similar things. All of this reminds me of when i was in elementary school and drew a picture of the Fourth of July and the kid next to me got mad because he already drew fireworks, so he told our teacher that I copied him. And then my teacher yelled at me and told me I couldn't draw the Fourth of July because somebody was already drawing fireworks.

Because of the obvious "4th July -> fireworks" , "Dark horse - > Horse on stage" , creativity is not an issue anymore. We are doing the obvious, and if it coincides with someone else we use the basic : he/she didn't invent it Conclusion: use your imagination to be the difference in a world that doesn't put an effort in to anything. GHGUY 230
Wow how pathetic, for Gaga apparently being "over" she still inspires these supposed #1 artists
chris777 112
That medley of TOTGA and Thinking of You, my top two favourite songs of hers, is EVERYTHING why I love her in the first place. She's at her best whenever she's with her guitar. And from what I'm seeing so far, this tour is her best to date. Her last one couldn't even be compared to this. I've to give A+ for the stage, the props, and the production numbers themselves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ey6XMmlCBEw I love this. nice to know she performed Thinking of You and I agree, this looks to be a great upgrade from her previous tours
Alcina Dimitrescu 1,156
Hehe that looks cool well the song talks about Aphrodite and the video and performances are about Cleopatra actually by Cleopatra's time Aphrodite was worshipped on Egypt too

But I was drawing a picture of the Fourth of July, so naturally I'd want to use fireworks. Just because it's the most basic imagery that represents it doesn't mean it was inspired by another kid drawing fireworks. It's the same with Katy. I'm not saying it's a creative idea, I'm just saying it's an obvious idea, not one that was probably stolen. It correlates directly with the song. I'm not saying it's a creative idea, I'm just saying it's an obvious idea, not one that was probably stolen. It correlates directly with the song. Everyone has the right to do anything. By putting labels such as "stolen", "creative", "inspiring", "artist", we just define/separate something in relation to something else. It doesn't mean that it is wrong or bad. Wrongness and badness differ form place to place, person to person, culture to culture. But we use these words to separate two things and to choose our perception of things. So in relation to the current topic, by seeing the horse we can "judge" if it is a "stolen" idea or "non-creative" and we form a perception of the two "artists" and their capabilities. KP by being obvious creates a certain perception of her being an "artist" and Gaga by being surreal creates another. It is us, people who judge and demote actions and in the particular situation we judged that "gaga didn't invent it" or KP "didn't/did stole the idea". If you don't want to be judged by certain fan groups, you can just be creative as hell and shut everybody's mouth and gain respect. If you want to keep people talking you just do the basic, obvious and create more buzz around your name (or tour). And here we are talking about KP's tour, when if she hadn't used the horse, we would only be mentioning her in a random topic. Anyway, that's music business.
