Twitter is not the end-all-be-all, especially when Gaga sells more albums than Katy, sells more singles than Katy, sells more concert tickets than Katy, and as Forbes recently showed us makes a hell of a lot more money than Katy. "Marry the Night" was hardly a flop; it sold over 500,000 copies and was a top 40 Billboard hit. Maybe you should learn what an actual flop is. Katy Perry eclipsing Gaga on a social media website really does not say anything about the future of either of their careers; Bieber passed Gaga earlier this year and his popularity is declining at very rapid levels. Katy also has more followers than Rihanna when Rihanna is also more popular than she is. And even if Gaga ended up being a "Prince rather than a MJ", Prince has tons of respect and is one of the most important figures in rock music history.
