Mills 446
More specific themes drive the biggest sales (and interest) then, compared to ballads centered on love - at least this is what I'm getting from this article.
LibraLove 1,253
She's not a polarizing figure that tackles controversial subjects outside of her music that puts people off. She doesn't make boundary pushing music that have intricate lyrics. It's easy listening, easily understandable, easily relate-able, and easily simple music that doesn't challenge people in any way. Not to be rude or flameing, but I was trying so hard from using the word basic. lol

Mills 446
The notion that KP's success is solely limited in the US is misleading, for her to be unfairly labeled as a "local" act. She actually has the same amount of worldwide chart-toppers (singles topping the charts of more than 10 countries, mostly the major music markets) as Gaga's. And she's among the few, if not the only act from this generation of pop stars, to have her first three lead singles to top the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, all of which are among the world's biggest music markets. If anything, that only implies that she's a bonafide global act.
