Domestic abuse activist Brooke Axtelle will join Perry for her performance of Prism ballad 'By the Grace of God'. She will recite a written-word piece during the singer's performance at the ceremony. Speaking to People, Axtelle said: "It's an honour to collaborate with Katy in this way. She has been very devoted to various aspects of female empowerment. "It's going to bring a lot of encouragement and freedom to those who hear my story and know that they are not alone in this." Kanye West, Rihanna, Paul McCartney, Madonna and Sam Smith are among the other artists confirmed to perform at this year's event. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift will be joined by the likes of Miley Cyrus and Shia LaBeouf in handing out prizes.
