NO ONE would buy Sexxx Dreams or MANiCURE. They'd end up like G.U.Y. Especially since G.U.Y and SD share a common s-xual theme which no one seems to really like from women anymore. The past few female hits don't have any s-xual references that are THAT explicit. thats because it is no one understands her still (gp) some people were confused by her vma performance others were tired of hearing about her ARTPOP and seriousness in every single interview. she just went over everybodys heads. literally. The VMA's literally saved Applause. If it went "over people's heads", then why did it jump back to #3 on iTunes after almost falling out of the Top 10 only 2 weeks after release and 1 week after a video? And why did it stay Top 10 until November when the VMA's happened in August? Because after being exposed to the song, people were here for it. She just needs to make music people are here for. Which is why it did well on radio and ended up selling 1,300,000 after 7 months. G.U.Y isn't weird to US, but people definitely felt it was weird.
