Monsters get mad when people say that Gaga straight out copies everything Madonna does. I still hear some monsters say BTW sounds nothing alike EY. When it's obvious Gaga was trying to recreate some 80's hits in her own way in the BTW album (e.g. Fahion of his Love/I wanna Dance with Sombody, Electric Chapel/ White Wedding, just to name some) and not to mention Gaga herself admitted it in this interview. But they are still two very different songs, with different sounds, different lyrics, different vocals, and also a different structure. Also, Gaga is only admitting that she was influenced by Madonna and the 90s when making BTW. She did not say she copied, remade, or remixed EY. I still hear some monsters say BTW sounds nothing alike EY. It's probably a mix of that.
