It's about actually making Art - like the ARTPOP film, despite this coming at a cost of it not being celebrated commerically, and not putting out awful videos like Birthday just to get a few extra dollars. But hey, you can always sit this era out if Birthday-style videos are more your thing, I guess, she might return to less "artsy" videos, but I hope not. (no shade intended, I'm being genuine). The ARTPOP film definitely wasn't art She said the car crash represents the impact you feel when love hits you. Love comes at you like a racing car, and love hurts. The fire represents passion, and the people in the video can all be seen showcasing various forms of love. I'm not much a fan of the song, but it sucks some people have to bash the video. By the looks of it, everyone was having a great time. And Katy probably had so much fun not being "Katy Perry" for a while.
