If Gaga gets 10 million views in a week that would be impressive.

Wasn't applause getting. 10 million a week when it was released?

Katy couldn't have done it without those crazy Islamists.

I disagree. A smash single like DH is bound to hit 100 million views, even without that Islam controversy. Maybe not as fast as it had, but it's still bound to happen one way or another.

Got myself bumped to this version yet again of TOTGA, my top favorite song from her and the one which I consider to be the very best of her discography. Ughh, she's at her best when she's singing acoustic. And things like this makes me root for her as truly the new Queen of Pop.

So Katy Perry bought 5 electrical cars for her 5 assistants - totally up to about $500,000 (£300,000)

I think this is great, and I hope that more celebrities follow in Katy's footsteps towards being more green - like reading this actually put a smile on my face and brightened up my day :flutter:

Pop star Katy Perry may have a schedule which sees her travel the world with a team of staff.
But the 29 year-old star is increasingly conscious of her carbon footprint and - to combat this - has splashed out on a batch of electric cars for her assistants.
According to a report in the Daily Star, the Dark Horse singer spent £300,000 on a troupe of vehicles which will make her considerably 'greener'.

The brunette bought five top-of-the-range Fisker Karmas - a luxury 4-door sedan - for each of her assistants, who combine to help manage her diary and run errands.
Appropriately for the California Girls singer, the vehicle was engineered in Los Angeles by a team headed by former Aston Martin design chief Henrik Fisker.
One of the leading electric vehicles, it was chosen as Luxury Car of The Year by Top Gear Magazine and Car of the Year by James May on the show itself.

A friend of Perry told the Daily Star: 'They are completely electric and top of the range in car luxury but she hates the smog in the air in LA.
In total she spent over half a million dollars on the cars and now her conscience is clean.'
Ironically, in her track Ur So Gay, she previously sang about electric cars, saying: 'You don’t eat meat and drive electrical cars, you’re so indie rock it’s almost an art.'

Ironically, despite her efforts, Katy's latest album Prism was declared a potential biohazard in Australia over fears seeds contained within the packaging posed a risk to wildlife.
The deluxe version of the album contains a small packet of flower seeds which the US singer has encouraged fans to grow to 'spread the light'.

Perry's production company has assured the country's Department of Agriculture (DA) that the Australian release contains only locally sourced seeds - those of the Swan River daisy - which are not a threat to the ecosystem.
But biosecurity officials say international versions of the CD bought online still pose a risk because they may not contain seeds native to the country.

*cough* Capitol *cough*

Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen

She gives them electric cars but keeps on going everywhere in a private jet plane. Yeah, what a green person.
