Rico Love: Beyonce sang all vocals to 'Sweet Dreams' in 15 minutes

Music producer and writer Rico Love, who seems to enjoy coming to radio stations to complain about the industry or artists he’s worked with, decided to tell a happy artist story this time around.

In a recent post on US Weekly, the songwriter talked about how a Miami thunderstorm didn’t stop Beyonce from creating “Sweet Dreams” with him.

After pointing out that Beyonce was six hours late and didn’t want to stay during the recording session because she wanted to see husband Jay Z in concert, Rico Love decided to play a song for her anyway.

 

 

“[Beyonce] was super sweet,” said Rico Love to US Weekly. “And I said, ‘I wrote this song for you, would you like to listen to it at least?’”

She heard the song, and according to Love, she enjoyed it enough to record right there on the spot. This was the result of her 15-minute vocals.
