​I don't get it either. Eventually it seems to be about political matters and the transgender element is just an example for a mechanism that affects all Americans.

Listened back a bit and it seems to be about people being so nitpicky nowadays that you aren't even allowed to be genuinely offended by something like a 40 year old guy being in the ladies' room with your little girl because he feels like a woman. I sort of get his point. He's definitely not trying to talk about transgender issues in general. Just an example of how certain matters are being pushed through too quickly and without any rational sense to them or care for the newer generations.

​No, the social experiment is this uproar of political correctness where adults (and children - he seems to be most concerned about them) are forbidden to do all sorts of stuff (incl. having certain beliefs or principles) in the name of tolerance etc. He's saying that this endless censoring and punishment for saying/doing unwanted things that really don't harm anyone is the stepping stone to our freedom of speech/thinking/assembly/religion (as in beliefs, not specifically a religious tradition) being changed and removed.
