Tonight was the grand finale of season 7 for RuPaul’s Drag Race and, as always, two winners are crowned – Miss Congeniality and America’s Next Drag Superstar. Judges RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Ross Mathews and Carson Kressley were all enjoying the festivities, especially the live lip sync performances. The winner of America’s Next Drag Superstar wins a one-year supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics and a cash prize of $100,000.

So, who was left in the finals tonight? The final three contestants included Ginger Minj, Pearl Matthew James, and Violet Chachki. Violet has made a little history on the show this season. She was the fifth person in the show’s history to win two consecutive challenges and the sixth contestant to reach the finale without ever being in the bottom two. So, did this up her chances at winning? The winner of Miss Congeniality was Katya this season and with the win is a cash prize of $5,000.

And the winner who was crowned by former Superstar Bianca Del Rio as America’s Next Drag Superstar was … Violet Chachki.

A very boring season with good highlights, I hate the 6984523 acting challenges.The only 'queens' I can say are really queens are Pearl, Violet and Katya. I like how Ru ended up with 2 fashion girls.

Violet deserves it as she was never in the bottom two, she was only low once,

She never had to lip sync for her life, she won the last two challenges and the first challenge. She always kept to her vision and is actually the most intelligent out of the entire bunch- her comedy and acting weren't the best but this is the future of drag- fashion. 

Her cinch alone deserves the crown!

​I thought there was some iconic episodes in this season- the Whatever Happened to Merle Ginsberg was iconic especially Miss Fame and Pearl in it!

​She was rude and shady to the "younger" and more fashionable queens for literally no reason and without anything to back it up.

(I say "younger" because she's only 29 yet is part of the old lady brigade......Miss Fame is literally older than her omg)
