Woolfsmck 2,763 Posted June 1, 2015 Share Posted June 1, 2015 I don't see a problem with anyone using a teleprompter as long as it's only there to prevent slip-ups rather than for the person to stand on stage and sing karaoke Whether they've written the songs or not doesn't matter, anyone can mess up on lyrics and draw a blank in the middle of a performance regardless of how much they've practiced Yeah, everyone has a moment where they draw a blank ... on stage its kinda of disastrous to the flow of the show. I bet the teleprompter helps with that more than memorization issues really like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still. I defended Katy for using it awhile back (so much for all little Monsters being assholes to other singers - people need to stop generalizing.) Honestly everyone is so busy on stage I doubt they even glance at it. Katy too. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
