My Opinion : Some Of Gaga's Fans Are Ungrateful Lately

Of course some fans are ungrateful, but I also think people like Bobby Campbell and people at the label are ungrateful for the fans and what we've done for Gaga. It's a two way street here, Gaga has helped us, and we've helped her, but lately there's a disconnect between people working for/with Gaga and the fans.

When I joined GGD more than 2 years ago, I would get so angry at all the people who only cared about Gaga's music and were rude or disrespectful to her personally.   In defense of Gaga I said some terribly mean things to those I deemed as "haters".   Ironically, it was Gaga herself, by everything she says and by how she lives her life, that showed me I was wrong.  Everyone is deserving of love, respect, and kindness ... even those that seem ungrateful, even those that seem mean and hateful.  Gaga will succeed in changing the world if people pay attention to her remarkable message.  There can be no conditions on kindness, none at all.

I do agree that some fans are getting ridiculous. But as regrds the idea that she doesn't owe us anything and can take as long as she wants...being a singer is a job just like any other. Meaning that you're expected to produce results on a frequent basis. Gaga's done a good job with her album releases, never keeping her fans waiting too long and I appreciate that. I don't want annual releases as they can be lower in quality and it's a lot to expect the fans to spend money on every time. 2-2.5 years between albums is fine. But I hope she doesn't start taking massive breaks between releases. A songwriter should always be writing, hence, albums should be fairly frequent. Just like how most authors produce a book every year or so. You should be writing even when you're tired, ill, sad, not inspired. Because that's what any sort of writer does. Therefore, taking years off between albums...there's not much excuse for that unless something major has gone down in your personal life. Part of the reason why I'm kinda glad I never followed my old dream of being a singer is that I don't have to worry about being under pressure to release new material all the time. Artists know what they're getting into when they get into this game. If you want to keep fans, you have to release albums on a regular basis, only taking extensive breaks when absolutely necessary. Artists do owe us something because we pay their wages and ensure they live in luxury.

I'd also like to take the time to say that I can't stand it when female singers seem to think having a baby means they have to go into semi retirement. Plenty of regular women have babies and go right back to their 9-5. But so many singers seem to think they're above that and to be a good parent, you have to be with your child 24/7. Kate Bush has barely made any music since she had a baby because she insists that her family life is more important than making music all the time. Fair enough if she had 5 young kids but no, her only child is now 17 and she's only released 2 albums in the last 22 years, the last of which only had 7 songs on it. There's prioritising family life and then there's just flat-out not doing your job. if Gaga ever does this if she has kids, I'd be p****d.

I love her & i think ARTPOP & C2C are ****ing amazing, i praised her with ha Machete Kills & SC2 acting, & bla bla bla...  but the the new dog clothing and food line is really stupid & i dont give a **** about it tbh
